Google launches Google+ pages and Direct Connect
A long requested and much awaited feature “pages”, has just been rolled out by Google for their social networking site Google+. Pages target anyone from a casual blogger to a well known brand. Google has divided pages into different categories like brands, local businesses, companies, entertainment and others.
The Google+ page looks and feels mostly like your personal Google+ except for the badge differentiating it from a personal account.We can use pages to share photos, videos, and text updates, and, like personal accounts pages can be added to your Circles.

In case you didn’t know ,Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is a game which is highly anticipated by the gaming community and is scheduled to release today (11/8/11) in a month filled with a plethora of blockbuster game releases.
Robotic Arachnid Prototype created to be a hazard site explorer
As if real Spiders weren’t Creepy enough , the folks at Fraunhofer Institute have created a robotic octapod designed to access hazardous areas that humans cannot. This little nature inspired spidey robot can tackle any terrain, with its four legs holding it steady at all times and the other four aiding in moving it forward and turning.
The eight legged explorer is rigged with an on board camera, a measurement instrument and sensors to detect chemical substances and toxins.With all these hi tech gadgets it aims to help responders in the future by broadcasting images after industrial accidents or natural disasters , and possibly to detect gas leaks and toxic substances in places humans cannot access.
